| Seconds, 2004, uses the evidence of quality control procedures to provide a decoration to rejected crockery. Kindly provided by the technical department of Spode, a producer of high quality tablewares, each mark made by the quality control department has been made into an enamel transfer. These transfers were put in place of the original marks before being fired, to render them permanent and durable. Funding and support is currently being sought in order to extend this project, and the new work will appear here soon. |
